The most sustainable form of pipe rehabilitation is the complete renewal of the old pipeline the existing route. TRACTO offers safe bursting systems for this purpose.
When using the static method with GRUNDOBURST, the hydraulic performance of the pipes can even be increased by pulling in larger nominal diameters.
THE TECHNOLOGY

The GRUNDOBURST 400S is ideal for pipe replacement and rehabilitation of with short pipes from manhole to manhole.
The GRUNDOBURST 400G replaces and rehabilitates pipes up to DN 250 from small excavations and its compact dimensions make it ideal for renewing drinking water pipes.
The static pulling force of the GRUNDOBURST 800G allows pressure and gravity pipes up to ND 400 to be replaced or rehabilitated quickly and reliably.
The QUICK-LOCK bursting rods for GRUNDOBURST work without threads and are connected very quickly using the snap coupling. They are extremely strong and thus much more durable than threaded rods, while being absolutely pull- and push-resistant and even easy to corner.
GRUNDOCRACK is the perfect bursting system for simple but effective dynamic renewal of sewer pipes made of brittle material supported by a winch.
The GRUNDOLOG accurately and reliably measures the tensile forces acting on the new pipe.
New: TIP Insertion Unit for Pipe-in-Pipe Renewal

The new GRUNDOTIP insertion unit for pipe-in-pipe renewal using the TIP method (= Tight-In-Pipe) is an optimal solution for the trenchless rehabilitation of old pipes with minor defects up to severe damage from manhole to manhole.
Using the GRUNDOTIP, slightly smaller new pipes are pushed into the old pipe to be replaced from a starting manhole, one pipe at a time. A calibration head compensates for existing deformations and restores the circular cross-section during installation, regardless of the old pipe's geometric condition. The new pipe fits tightly against the old pipe, and the minimal annular gap that results does not need to be filled.
The TIP method is particularly suitable for pipe renewal in densely built-up areas, as there is no soil displacement. It also scores points for its flexibility and short installation and construction times. TRACTO offers the GRUNDOTIP for pipe renewal from ND 200 to ND 500.
